6mm ... still going

The 6mm Saxons are still progressing. All the cloaks are done and the shields have been given a white undercoat to make the final colours a bit brighter.  Here are back and front views of the figures so far.

After the shields, I'll have to finish the spears, and helmets, hats, hair and any metalwork. Then I'm nearly done.

  3. Thanks for the comments, gents. I'm painting these for a friend at my club (Perth Wargames Club). I just have to do the painting and pass them over for him to do the basing. I think his intention is still to base them for Impetus / Basic Impetus.
Hopefully when they get on the field I'll be able to take some decent pictures.
However, my main stumbling block so far has been motivation - 6mm is not my usual scale and I have to push myself to get painting. But maybe I'm putting in too much effort for 6mm.
    cheers,
    Tom
